When the brief for the Xiaomi YU7 launch film called for capturing the vehicle's dynamic capabilities against a backdrop that embodied both beauty and extremes, we knew we had to create something extraordinary. Our concept: a high-speed winter drive across a massive frozen lake, transforming a stark landscape into a cinematic proving ground.

Driven by a spirit of adventure and technical excellence, the team at Blackship Studios headed into the frozen expanse—confronting sub-zero temperatures and the unique challenges of shooting in such an untouched, unforgiving environment. Our mission was to showcase the YU7's performance, handling, and cutting-edge design in a way that had never been seen before.

We deployed a fleet of agile drones equipped with high-speed cameras to capture sweeping aerial shots that highlighted the car's speed and grace against the endless white horizon. Meanwhile, a dedicated ground crew utilized stabilized camera rigs and tracking vehicles to film breathtaking close-ups as the YU7 drifted and accelerated across the mirror-like ice.

The film's aesthetic is a fusion of raw power and elegant minimalism, placing both the car's design and the stunning winter backdrop front and center. This project was a testament to our team's "No Limits" philosophy—overcoming logistical hurdles and leveraging the latest camera and drone technology to create a film that is as thrilling to watch as it was to make.
